REVOL U TIONARY LIGHTNING PREVENTION Effective against lightning and other forms of electromagnetic pulses, the CMCE is the most advanced lightning protection device on the market. With over 8000 installations worldwide utilizing this technology — and no reported strikes in over 15 years — the CMCE is the new standard in global lightning prevention. The CMCE continuously balances the protected areas electromagnetic field — downstreaming excess energy harmlessly into the ground — eliminating the development of upward streamers.

Lightning Strike Impact Stats 51 people on average die annually in the U.S. from lightning strikes (over last 40 years.)* 250,000 people worldwide are injured annually by lighting, one tenth of them fatally.** 25 miles is the distance that lightning has been documented to travel from the storm of origin.*** 62% of lightning deaths occur during “leisure- related activities” including water sports, stadium sports and golf.**** $451 million in U.S. property damage per year caused by lightning strikes*****

THE SCIENCE BEHIND IT The CMCE device acts as a modified capacitor collecting positive and negative charges from the atmosphere during a storm. Lightning strikes are produced when negative charges in a cloud connect to positive charges from the ground. Disrupt this connection and formation of lightning strikes is eliminated. The CMCE device balances the electrical field by drawing in positive and negative ions and sending them to ground before lightning has a chance to form. The result: a lightning-safe “bubble” for your property and invaluable peace of mind for you. By eliminating the development of upward streamers lightning is prevented from developing. Stepped leaders will continue to seek out a pathway to release its energy, but for areas protected by the CMCE Lightning Suppressor those pathways are eliminated . LIGHTNING CANNOT BE STOPPED. ENERGY BUILDING UP IN STORM CLOUDS NEEDS TO BE RELEASED. WHAT CAN BE CONTROLLED IS WHERE THAT LIGHTNING DOESN’T STRIKE! The CMCE Lightning Suppressor is designed to prevent lightning from terminating where it is not wanted—inside its radius of protection. This is the only system that actively discourages lightning through deionization. These devices are not traditional “Franklin-style” lightning rods, which in fact attract lightning. Instead our devices create a strike-free bubble by balancing positive and negative atmospheric charges and sending them to the ground safely.

= Capacitor

Each capacitor has one of its electrodes referenced to earth. The free electrode induces atmospheric charges contrary to that of the earth, balancing the charge of the electrodes . This generates a flow of charges to earth in harmless milliamps.

COST OF A STRIKE Realistic numbers show that damage in the U.S. exceeds $7 billion per year. It is estimated that lightning accounts for 61% of all accidents in storage and processing activities, where natural events are identified as the root cause of the incidents. In North America, 16 out of 20 accidents involving petroleum products storage tanks were as a result of lightning strikes.

TIME-TESTED TESLA TECHNOLOGY In 1916, scientist and inventor Nikola Tesla patented a “lightning rod that inhibits lightning.” This dome- shaped apparatus was never used in Tesla’s time, but it is that rediscovered patent that the CMCE is based on. This 100-year-old technology is still virtually 100 percent effective today. Tesla explained that conventional lightning rods, instead of protecting property and people, actually attract lightning, increasing the chances of electric discharge and consequently the risks.
